Shopify has partnered with GigLabs to launch a new feature that allows US merchants to mint and trade non-fungible tokens.
The firm notes on its page that NFT can also be minted in other crypto assets like Ethereum, Near, Polygon, and Flow via its partner applications.
The pilot program is currently available to Shopify Plus account holders. The firm further announces that users looking to integrate the GigLabs NFT application into their accounts can reach out to its team for further guidance.
Collectors can use Shopify and Shop Pay to purchase the Collectibles. Other payments methods include credit and debit cards and cryptocurrencies.
Buyers are sent an email with the NFTs that can be transferred to digital wallets once they make the purchase. GitLab NFT offers NFT minting and creation on the Flow blockchain.
