Samsung’s Metaverse ‘My House’

Samsung’s metaverse dubbed My House has registered more than 4 million visitors in under one month, as the tech firm plans on engaging the younger customers.  

The head of Samsung’s Global Marketing Center, Young-hee Lee, notes that the success of My House paves the way for more involvement from millennials and Generation Z.

The South Korean tech company commits to using metaverse technology to innovate its products and to develop a robust technological system.  

My House was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show 2022 with Zepeto, Naver’s 3D avatar network. The platform allows users to decorate and customize virtual spaces. 

Metaverse has gained traction recently, with the market valuation reaching $15 trillion in November 2021. The technology is an immersive universe with multiple spaces.

The announcement is another step into the metaverse by Samsung, which recently launched a virtual version of its 837 New York City store.
