Stock Market Update

As the U.S. stock markets prepare to open for the day, there are notable movements in pre-market trading. VinFast Auto Ltd. (VFS) is experiencing a 12.3% increase, while Salesforce Inc. (CRM) is up by 9.3%.

Several other companies are also seeing gains before the market officially opens. Nutanix Inc. Cl A (NTNX), Snowflake Inc. (SNOW), and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. (HPE) are all posting gains of at least 4%. However, Pure Storage Inc. Cl A (PSTG) and Gartner Inc. (IT) have experienced declines, falling by 14.9% and 4.7% respectively.

Futures and Commodities

The S&P 500 futures are currently up by 0.22%, alongside futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average, which have risen by 0.48%. Additionally, the Cboe Volatility Index futures have increased by 0.87%.

In commodities news, Brent crude oil futures have risen by 0.88%, while gold futures have experienced a decline of 0.48%. Furthermore, Bitcoin has fallen by 0.28% and is now valued at $37,485.

Treasury Yield and Global Markets

The 10-Year Treasury yield has climbed to 4.295%.

During the previous regular trading session, the S&P 500 experienced a slight decline of 0.09%, while the Dow saw a small increase of 0.04%. In Asia, stocks have risen overnight, with Japan’s NIKKEI 225 Index up by 0.50% and China’s Shanghai Composite Index showing a rise of 0.26%.

As for European markets, stocks are also on an upward trend. The STOXX Europe 600 Index has climbed by 0.52%, and the FTSE 100 Index has risen by 0.62% since the previous close.
