Ripple’s New Liquidity Hub Expected to Accelerate Enterprise Crypto Adoption

Ripple’s New Liquidity Hub

Ripple announced the launch of a new product, Ripple Liquidity Hub, on Tuesday for financial service entities.

The feature, expected to debut in 2022, will give enterprise clients access to cryptocurrencies from market makers, exchanges, and the OTC trading desks. The company says interoperability is key despite XRP and XRP ledger remaining the native part of the tech stack.

Clients using the services will offer bitcoin, Litecoin, bitcoin cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, and XRP trading services. The crypto startup said it would offer lines of credit using XRP so that users will not have to pre-fund the liquidity hub accounts.

Coinme, a bitcoin ATM company, will be the first partner in the Liquidity Hub project. Ripple is also aiming to offer Non-fungible tokens in the future, even as it seeks to clear its name from SEC’s lawsuit over XRP.
