Chinese electric vehicle maker, NIO, has launched non-fungible tokens for staff to mark the growth of the company.
The theme of the 2022 brooch is Hello Norway, a creation of jewelry designer Thomas V. that was inspired by Northern Lights.
The collection would have 15,500 art pieces with both physical and digital versions set to be distributed in a lottery.
The firm’s senior director of corporate communications, Ma Lin, says that the electric vehicle maker would issue a brooch marking the annual moment.
Lin also notes that the Shanghai-based automobile company has been exploring ways to nurture ties with car owners and would be transferring the same to staff relations.
Rival Tesla has also been rewarding its employees with NFTs as the adoption of the digital asset gains momentum among corporations.
