Miladys NFTs Drop 70% On Links With a Controversial Online Cult

Miladys NFTs Drop 70%

The price floor of Miladys Maker non-fungible tokens dropped about 70% in the past week after rumors that its creators are linked to the controversial online cult.

Miladys exchanged for 0.26 ether, equivalent to $511 in the latest price compared to an ATH of more than $6,000 in April. The trading volumes have similarly fallen 57% in the past day, while one Milady sold as low as 0.037 ETH in the past seven days.

The floor prices of other NFTs like CryptoPunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club normally sold in the past week, affirming that Miladys’ plunge was an isolated incident.

The sentiment was triggered when a pseudonymous, decentralized finance developer 0xngmi alleged that Charlotte Fang, Miladys’ developer, was a Miya. Miya is a pseudonymous online community linked with hatred towards minority groups.
