Decentralized Finance protocol Injective has teamed up with Wormhole to integrate ten additional blockchains into its network, including Avalanche and Solana.
The network’s developer, Injective Labs, says that the new collaboration will allow the transfer and trading of assets across all chains connected to Wormhole.
The developers add that the integration of Wormhole will boost Injective’s capabilities in interoperability. The transfer of assets from different EVM chains or Solana will reportedly be completed seamlessly.
Injective has outlined its ability to become the main gateway for cross-chain native assets from Solana and other layer-1 chains to the network.
The announcement is yet to boost the price of Injective’s native INJ tokens with their price down 2.6% in the past day at $2.21.
Injective is a layer-2 decentralized exchange in Cosmos for derivatives, token swaps, and sports betting prediction platforms. The network is interoperable with other blockchains, including Ethereum, Cosmos, and Polkadot.
Wormhole is a blockchain messaging platform interacting with multiple protocols for services like cross-chain application support and digital assets bridge.
