Dish Network’s Sling TV has added cryptocurrency support for subscriptions payments through BitPay.
Sling’s 2.5 million subscribers will have access to tokens supported on BitPay, including Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin in the new deal.
The news follows an announcement by Elon Musk that Tesla charging stations will support Dogecoin payments in the future.
The Electric vehicle entrepreneur was responding to a tweet where he added that the company was also looking at launching a futuristic drive-in cinema in the Hollywood vicinity.
Twitter added support for Ethereum payments recently, and Dogecoin founder Billy Markus is rallying the support of the online community to have the platform add Dogecoin.
Bitpay is one of the leading cryptocurrency payment service providers with more than 90 supported digital wallets.
