Smart money cryptocurrency whales acquire three digital assets while disposing of three others.
Insights firm Santiment informed its 120,200 Twitter followers that whales had acquired 41% more CRO in the last two months.
CRO is the cryptocurrency that supports the Crypto.com payment, trading, and financial services platform. Santiment categorizes whales as entities that hold between 100,000 to 10 million CRO tokens.
In a new report, Santiment also stated that whales are buying UMA, a platform that allows developers to construct synthetic assets or Ethereum-based tokens that can track the price of any item.
Decentralized crypto exchange Uniswap (UNI) is another altcoin that whales are accumulating. Santiment indicated that entities holding 10,000 and one million UNI coins continue to expand their holding despite UNI’s weak price movements.
Meanwhile, the three altcoins the insights firm stated that whales are selling are lending and borrowing protocol Aave (AAVE), derivatives liquidity protocol Synthetix (SNX), and prediction markets platform Augur (REP).
