Crypto.com’s CRO rose to the 24th spot in the crypto rank after rising more than 20% to a market cap of above $9.2 billion a day after listing on Coinbase.
CRO traded around $0.35 a day after listing, and Coinbase announced on Thursday that the crypto, currently hosted on Ethereum, would begin trading immediately.
Crypto.com is preparing a UFC NFT collection with Philadelphia 76ers on board in a bid to use sports marketing to champion adoption. CRO has also signed a sponsorship deal with Formula 1 for five years, and a campaign with Matt Damon.
The listing is a direct competition between Coinbase and Crypto.Com exchange, amid a push to list all legal digital assets.
CRO is predicted to hit above .68 cents. Crypto.com exchange is ranked top five in spot exchange volume. Binance coin also has a reward program using CRO and in DeFi applications.
