Analysts expect ASML Holdings’ net income for the fourth quarter to increase to 1.86 billion euros ($1.97 billion), compared to EUR1.82 billion in the previous year.

Net Sales

During the fourth quarter, net sales are projected to be between EUR6.7 billion and EUR7.1 billion. ASML Holdings had previously indicated that it anticipated sales for 2023 to be on par with the previous year’s EUR21.2 billion due to uncertainty surrounding the semiconductor industry’s demand recovery.

Stock Performance

The stock price experienced a 28% increase in the quarter and is currently trading at 60,573.95 pence.

Gross Margin

The fourth-quarter gross margin is anticipated to range from 50% to 51%.


ASML views 2024 as a transition year with flat revenue, followed by strong growth in 2025. The company’s October update stated that they expect the semiconductor industry to reach an inflection point by the end of this year, as it is currently navigating through the bottom of the cycle. CEO Peter Wennink highlighted that new factory constructions will support future growth.
