Adidas Launches Into Metaverse

Adidas announced on Thursday that it is collaborating with the Bored Ape Yacht Club, PUNKS Comic, and gmoney NFT to expand its growth in the metaverse space.

The sportswear manufacturer says that the metaverse space enables users to express their most authentic selves in any form they may wish.

It adds that blockchain technology allows the original creators to own their art. In the article by the company, the Bored Ape NFT has been redesigned to show the Adidas tracksuit.  

The Bored Ape Yacht Club has over 10,000 NFTs generated on the Ethereum blockchain. Gmoney is a crypto and NFT influencer featured in the Fortune NFTy 50.

The third partner PUNKS Comic uses NFTs and comic books to create crypto comics. The NFT sales could reportedly peak at $18 billion at the year’s close as the industry gains momentum. .
