Wanchain has collaborated with the Polygon network to launch a decentralized cross-chain bridge between Polygon and Arbitrum.
The Ethereum interoperability chain says the bridge would enable direct transfers between the two networks bypassing the Ethereum Mainnet.
The Arbitrum bridge would also link other multi-chain bridges on the Polygon ecosystem like Wormhole, Connext, Celer, Hop Protocol, and AnySwap.
The co-founder of Polygon Sandeep Nailwal notes that the cross-chain would enhance the liquidity and utility of the layer two solution.
Polygon is a top scaling solution, using the proof-of-stake consensus, on the Ethereum blockchain with notable projects like Miden and Hermez.
The Vice President of Business Development Operations at Wanchain Li Ni says that the bridge would have a high transaction speed and low costs found in the Polygon network.
Arbitrum is the most popular layer-two solution developed on the Ethereum ecosystem with a $2.4 billion TVL in several decentralized applications. Some of the platforms supported by its cross-chain include Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Litecoin, and EOS.
