Vechain has entered into a $100 million five-year sports sponsorship deal with UFC martial arts, giving the blockchain rights for official UFC fighter rankings and brand visibility.
The deal covers live broadcasts and online presence and includes branding rights in the UFC’s Octagon at 42 annual events and the 10-event Dana White Contender Series.
The two entities will collaborate on various original content featuring UFC talent and athletes and an annual Brand Ambassador fund for paid marketing opportunities to UFC athletes.
VeChain is a blockchain focusing on conventional business processes like supply chain management. The network has previously teamed up with Bayer, Walmart, and BMW.
The blockchain has welcomed the partnership as an opportunity to win major global goals around sustainability. The executive has termed the sport as one of the fastest-growing events and an opportunity for the layer-1 blockchain.
