Financial services company Stripe has teamed up with OpenNode to allow Stripe’s clients to convert incoming payments to Bitcoin through OpenNode app.
OpenNode has announced that the new application will launch with the Stripe App marketplace in the next few weeks. Stripe, one of the largest payment providers globally, says that businesses will be able to convert any amount of payments.
The service will let businesses automatically set the number of payments to convert or complete the process manually. The app also enables users to view the conversion rates before transacting.
The Stripe app will let enterprises link directly with their bank accounts, allowing for accessible BTC-fiat conversion.
OpenNode completed a $20 million Series A funding round in February that attracted Kingsway, putting the company at a valuation of $220 million in the global expansion.
