International Stocks Show Mixed Performance

International stocks trading in New York had a mixed performance on Monday. The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts (ADRs) rose by 0.2% to 167.92.

Regional Performance

  • The European index increased by 0.4% and closed at 163.75.
  • The Asian index experienced a slight decline of 0.1%, closing at 192.27.
  • The Latin American index faced a decline of 0.5% ending at 218.62.
  • The emerging-markets index dropped by 0.9% and closed at 310.91.

Top Performers

China’s QuantaSing Group saw a significant surge during the trading session, with its shares skyrocketing by 29% to $4.27. Similarly, NaaS Technology, a China-based company, witnessed substantial growth of nearly 23%, reaching a value of $1.58. Foresight Autonomous Holdings, headquartered in Israel, secured the third spot among the leaders, as its shares soared by 22% to $1.40.

Biggest Declines

GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes, a Brazilian company, experienced the largest decline, with its shares falling by 45% to $1.50. Following this, shares of China’s Jianpu Technology dropped significantly by 24%, resting at 48 cents. Furthermore, shares of Japan-based Yoshitsu tumbled over 14%, reaching a value of 26 cents.
