TRON is an open-source, decentralized blockchain network where individuals can share information and develop applications via smart contracts. It was launched in 2014 by Justin Sun, a Chinese –American businessman. In the beginning, it used to operate on the ETH network, but in 2018, it shifted to its individual blockchain.
All the information available on the network is permissionless and free. Creators get paid in TRX tokens, the native token of the platform, or other coins supported by TRX. Members can also mint their own coins to be used with decentralized apps. This network also hosts some games where players can reward the programmers using their coins.
TRON follows a proof-of-stake protocol where there are a fixed number of representatives keeping records of all the deals. The community selects these individuals on a periodic basis who get incentivized with TRX coins.
The TRON network is capable of accommodating thousands of trades in a single second. The absence of trading commissions is another special aspect of this protocol. The smart contracts on this platform are compatible with a high-level language, which makes them suitable for programmers.
