What is Viberate?
Viberate is a live music-streaming platform built on the Ethereum blockchain. The ecosystem profiles artists as per their internet popularity — Viberate awards contributors with tokens from a bounty pool. The network brings together musicians, event planners, ticketing firms, and music venues. Viberate also uses smart contracts in booking and live events negotiation processes powered by its main currency. The negotiations include the date and time of the live event, artist fee, venue, and duration.
Viberate operates an open database that allows anyone to update artists’ profiles. Users who contribute to the network by registration and promotions get a token reward. The bounty pool from which the contributors are paid is funded through an ICO and allotted 5% of the total issued tokens. Subsequent future funding cannot be obtained through coin offering as a deflationary measure.
VIB is the native Viberate utility token. There are 196,825,000 circulating VIB tokens and a supply of 200,000,000. Contributors can exchange their awarded points for VIB tokens with an exchange rate determined by the rewarded actions.
Matej Gregorcic, Vasja Veber, Uros Umek, and Dejan Roljic are the co-founders at Viberate, which operates offices in Slovenia and London.
