What is MinePlex?
MinePlex is a CrossFi protocol seeking to integrate the conventional financial markets and blockchain technology. The platform provides basic banking services like investments, retail, and trading for users to transact in cryptocurrency. The project is secured through the Liquid proof-of-stake consensus algorithm, which delegates the address and not the tokens.
MinePlex is built on the Tezos blockchain, enabling the platform to implement changes without hard forks. The protocol features a debit card that allows customers to use cryptocurrencies. The company’s Cryptobank MinePlex is a mobile application acting as an interface for banking services.
MinePlex is a dual token ecosystem consisting of MINE and PLEX tokens. MINE is a non-volatile asset with a par value of $0.01. The initial issue of the MINE tokens was 259,200,000,000, with an equivalent maximum issue. 10% of the MINE token emission is set for a reserve fund, while 20% of the emission is allocated for sale through personal accounts. 70% of MINE emission is kept in a special smart contract that exchanges PLEX tokens for MINE tokens.
