What is Klaytn?
Klaytn is an enterprise-oriented blockchain platform that hosts more than 50 applications. It was introduced in 2019 by a South Korean company known as Kakao. Generally, the usage of a crypto coin depends on the nature of the blockchain network where they operate. Klaytn manages to combine the decentralization of public platforms with the excellent scalability and low latency of private networks. The native token of this platform is traded under the ticker KLAY.
This network operates on the basis of a practical BFT mechanism. As a result, it can process as many as 4000 orders in a second. For creating smart contracts, it uses the Solidity programming language. The network can be divided into roughly three parts. The CCN subnetwork verifies and runs trades, thus sharing the blocks across the environment. ENN builds orders and runs information requests. Finally, there is the SCN layer that is operated through decentralized applications. It uses endpoint nodes to link with the principal chain.
The governing body is made up of MNCs and other large companies. The members of the council have electoral power, so they can suggest improvements as needed.
