What is APENFT?
APENFT is a blockchain protocol that promotes traditional and digital art. The platform aims to invest in major NFT protocols and art pieces, support creators, and sponsor exhibitions. APENFT relies on the technology of blockchain networks like Ethereum and TRON. The platform also uses BitTorrent File System to record art pieces as non-fungible tokens on a blockchain. APENFT’s mission is to register artworks globally as NFTs and to help artists to benefit from blockchain technology.
There are 277,080,560,000,000 circulating NFT tokens from a total supply of 999,990,000,000,000 and an equivalent hard cap. The protocol aims to turn NFTs into ERC721 or TRC721 tokens hosted on-chain. The tokens are based on ERC20 or TRC20 smart contracts where holders retain the interest of the underlying asset.
APENFT has teamed up with NFT auction houses like Christie’s and Sotheby’s and Nifty Gateway to expand its offering. APENFT converts artwork into NFTs with enhanced hosting capabilities. Most of the activities of APENFT are managed by the APENFT foundation, which facilitates crossover trades.
APENFT was unveiled in 2021, with Steve Liu acting as the President. The platform is registered in Singapore.
