A study by Nasdaq shows that 72% of financial advisors will invest their investors’ money in cryptocurrencies if a spot ETF was available in the market.
The study, which targeted 500 financial advisors managing $26 trillion in assets, adds that 86% of the sample expect to increase their crypto allocation in the next 12 months, while 0% anticipate reducing.
The findings also reveal that 50% of the sample size uses bitcoin futures ETFs, with another 28% planning to start using the asset class from next year.
The report adds that 69% of the financial advisors will consider using the index fund, 57% sector-specific funds, 52% actively managed funds, 40% individual digital assets, and 31% high-yield funds.
The advisors eying crypto exposure for their clients say that the ideal allocation is 6% of the total client’s portfolio.
The report comes as cryptocurrency investors look beyond the current exchange-traded fund in bitcoin futures and take an active role in the asset class.
