SAND jumped more than 25% in 24 hours after the sporting merchandise manufacturer, Adidas, hinted at a possible partnership with the blockchain network.
The German multinational corporation says that it would collaborate with Sandbox to develop adiVerse. The company invited suggestions in a tweet for the metaverse project, terming it as futuristic.
Adidas posted an image of a parcel of land under its brand on Sandbox’s metaverse platform and engaged its followers on how it could develop it.
The sporting giant has also launched the Proof of Attendance Protocol on its Confirmed app.
SAND has surged to a record high of around $7, turning in 70% gains in the past week. The token skyrocketed 600% since Facebook rebranded to Meta in October. DVI and ENJ are the other cryptos that have benefited from the metaverse craze.
