Flow’s native token FLOW has jumped 11% in the past day following the launch of a licensed mobile game that features the Beijing 2022 Olympics Winter Games.
Olympic Games Jam: Beijing 2022 is a play-to-earn game developed in partnership with nWayPlay and licensed by the International Olympics Committee.
The game enables players to compete in an array of winter sports to earn Olympic NFT digital pins as they compete for gold medals.
The nWayPlay game can be accessed via Android and iOS devices using nWayPlay ID. A wallet connection is not necessary to participate.
Other popular games in the Flow ecosystem include the basketball card trading game NBA Top Shot which has 1.2 million users, and Crictos, with 1 million subscribers.
FLOW jumped to around $9 on Wednesday from $6.97 previously. The token has tumbled about 80% since hitting a high of $42 in 2021.
nWayPlay enables gamers to use custodial and non-custodial wallets to buy in-game items.
