Dianomi Expects Decline in First-Half Revenue

Provider of digital-advertising services anticipates a decrease in revenue due to a decline in traffic volumes

Dianomi, a leading provider of digital-advertising services, announced on Monday that it expects its first-half revenue to experience a significant decline. The company attributes this decline to a reduction in traffic volumes across its publishers, which has impacted its ability to generate advertising revenue.

According to Dianomi, it anticipates an 18% year-on-year decrease in first-half revenue. This decline comes after a strong first quarter and is projected to result in revenue of approximately £14.8 million ($19.4 million). In the first half of 2022, Dianomi reported revenue of £18.0 million.

Furthermore, Dianomi predicts that its full-year revenue will fall short of market expectations. The company now forecasts revenue between £30.5 million and £32.5 million, compared to its 2022 revenue of £35.9 million. Previously, Dianomi had not disclosed a revenue forecast.

Despite the challenges, Dianomi remains optimistic about its financial position. The company proudly emphasizes that it is debt-free and anticipates improved cash generation in the second half of the year. Additionally, Dianomi continues to attract new customers and expand its distribution through programmatic initiatives.

Rupert Hodson, the Chief Executive Officer of Dianomi, stated, “We are currently in a solid position with a strong balance sheet. However, as a business, we are looking beyond the near term and focusing on our future ability to offer our existing customer base the option to substantially increase their spend with us.”
