Crypto.com Added as Official Sponsor of 2022 FIFA World Cup

Official Sponsor

Crypto.com has signed a deal with the International Federation of Association Football to be the official sponsor of the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 starting November.

The federation says that the exchange will have signages inside and outside the stadiums of the soccer event.

Crypto.com will also allow its users to attend the tournaments and offer them a chance to win branded merchandise as part of the deal.

The firm expects to appeal to a bigger audience despite Qatar’s ban on virtual assets since 2018. 3.5 billion people viewed the sporting event previously held in 2018.

FIFA Chief Commercial Officer, Kay Madati, notes that the sponsorship will be important in growing the popular sporting sensation.

The Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange continues to use sports marketing to expand its reach. The company signed a deal to rebrand Staples Center Arena in Los Angeles to Crypto.com last year.
