Avalanche, THETA, and Tezos to Rollout Network Upgrades on Binance

Binance exchange has announced that the platform would support the upcoming Avalanche, Tezos, and Theta network upgrades and hard forks.

The exchange notes that the AVAX network upgrade would happen at around 18:00 UTC on December 2, 2021, and deposits and withdrawals would be suspended beginning 17:00 UTC on December 2, 2021.

The second upgrade is for the Tezos network. It will happen at the Tezos block height of 1,916,929 or about 16:20 UTC on December 3, 2021. Deposits and withdrawals services would not be available from 15:20 UTC on the same day.

The THETA network upgrades and hard forks would be at the block height of 13,123,789 or about 01:00 UTC on December 5, 2021. The platform’s deposits and withdrawals services for the token would not be available from 00:00 UTC on December 5.

The exchange notes that the stated time is only for reference and could change based on the block propagation times.

Binance adds that the trading of the three tokens would not be affected during the upgrades, and it would handle all the technical aspects involved.

The exchange has also announced that the upgrades would not result in the creation of new tokens. It adds that deposits and withdrawals would only resume once the upgrades are deemed stable, and there would be no further notification.
